Shelley Williamson, MD
Dr. Shelley Williamson is a double board-certified physician in Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism and Internal Medicine with nearly a decade of medical training and experience caring for adults with complex hormonal and metabolic conditions. After completing medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, she trained in Internal Medicine in Nashville before returning to Houston for her endocrinology fellowship at Houston Methodist.
After years of working in the conventional system, she could no longer ignore how many patients were leaving visits feeling rushed, dismissed, and unheard. Dr. Williamson believed her patients deserve more time and a more human approach.
She founded this practice for the patients who had stopped expecting their doctor to really listen, because they had never had one who did.

A Note From Dr. Williamson
From the beginning, I knew the kind of physician I wanted to be. Present. Unhurried. Someone my patients could actually reach. After years of working within the conventional system, I stopped trying to reconcile what I wanted to give with what the model allowed. I knew it was time to build something different.

Care Without the Clock
Direct specialty care is a membership-based model designed to remove the barriers that make medical care feel rushed and fragmented. Instead of billing insurance for every visit, patients pay a flat monthly membership fee for direct access, longer appointments, ongoing support, and thoughtful endocrine care built around their real lives.
That means no fifteen-minute visits, no waiting months for answers, and no feeling dismissed when something changes. Just a true partnership with a physician who has the time to listen, think deeply, and stay connected to your care.

Outside the Practice
Dr. Williamson can be found in her garden, on her Pilates mat, or in the weight room. She shares her home with her family, her cat, and a new puppy who has already claimed most of the couch. She brings the same energy to her personal life that she brings to her patients: curious, committed, and fully present for the people she loves.
Who We Serve
We serve adults throughout Houston and across Texas who are navigating complex hormonal and metabolic conditions and want a more thoughtful, connected approach to care. Patients visit in person at our Houston office or online from anywhere in Texas — including Austin, San Antonio, Dallas–Fort Worth, and communities without a local endocrinologist. This practice exists to give patients the time, partnership, and attention traditional healthcare too often leaves behind.
